Effective Monday, March 16th, to better serve our patients from the comfort of their own homes, Yampa Valley Medical Associates significantly expanded our telehealth availability. Patients may contact our office to schedule virtual visits for routine care and general health checks. Patients will require credentials on our
Patient Portal and a computer or tablet with a working camera, speaker, microphone and web browser. You may also download the app from the
Apple App Store or
Google Play Store for use on a smartphone or tablet. Patient virtual visit (telehealth) instructions are located on our

Some urgent care, annual physicals, and procedures require in person visits within our office due to the level of care and assessment required. These visits may require a physical examination, lab work, and procedures completed in person. Please call our office to determine your urgent care or procedural needs or to schedule an annual physical. If you have a serious injury or serious symptoms including chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe abdominal pain, or other emergency, please call 911.
Many health plans have a telehealth benefit. If you are unsure about your benefits, please contact your health plan directly to confirm your coverage. We will bill your plan then bill you for your cost-sharing (copay, coinsurance, deductible). You may receive a bill for services if you do not have a telehealth benefit.
